(Updated-9/1)AGENCIES OFFERING VOLUNTARY INCENTIVES: LAYOFF and/or RETIREMENT
The following EOHHS agencies have signed agreements, in conformance with the EOHHS Master Agreement, to offer Incentives for the voluntary layoff or retirement of personnel. Notification letters will begin going out shortly.

DPH
DVS (Veterans Services)
DYS (Retirement only)
Soldiers Home (Holyoke)
Soldiers Home (Chelsea)
DCR (LayOff and Retirement-notice to union not formalized)
DEP (LayOff and Retirement)
MASSDOT (LayOff and Retirement)
EOWLD & Agencies (Layoff and Retirement)
(DMH may offer voluntary incentives, however DMH is awaiting outcome of current restructuring/reorganizing plan of the Agency. Incentives will probably be offered in September.)
[These are all Voluntary in nature. The agency can control for whether or not they will provide the incentive. The decision is made at application. Normally, a denial of a voluntary request is an indicator that the Agency does not wish to lose the particular function/skill set of the applicant and would prefer to retain them. NAGE cannot circumvent the decision of the Agency in these matters because it is voluntary in nature and therefore not grievable.]
