DPH INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT EMPLOYEES

DPH is going to send the below message to DPH non-hospital staff on Monday welcoming them to attend “drop-in” office hours to answer HR questions they may have, such as EAP, how to apply for positions, available trainings, etc.  Any help to spread the word that employees are encouraged to attend is appreciated.

As mentioned in the Commissioner’s August 20th update, the HR Team has been working on some new initiatives to support employees. I’m excited to announce DPH Employee Engagement and Support Drop-in Office Hours to begin as of September 25th at the following offices: Radiation Program (Charlestown), State Lab (Jamaica Plains), Registry of Vital Records (Dorchester), Central Office (250 Washington St), Chauncy Street & Causeway Street.

I will be available to meet with individuals and/or small groups to provide information in the areas of Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Internal Career Opportunities, Skill Development Opportunities and Safety & Wellness Committee suggestions.
