UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE
If a member is layed off due to no work or no money, that member is entitled to collect unemployment assistance. This includes instances when a member may have accepted a “voluntary layoff with incentive”. The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD) handles unemployment assistance.
